Whitby Family Footcare is pleased to announce the gradual resumption of footcare services. Thank you your for your patience during the Coronavirus lockdown.
Our profession was included on a list of regulated health professions last week that were allowed to resume providing health services.
The resumption of services must follow the illustrated guidelines listed below from the College of Chiropodists of Ontario (COCOO). This requires you to wear a face mask when you arrive at our clinic. We have a limited supply of medical grade face masks. The COCOO has provided a illustrative patient guide which will outline the protocol during your office visit.
We will be contacting patients whose appointments were cancelled at the beginning of the Coronavirus lockdown and moving forward from that time.
The provision of foot care services could be limited by our supply of personal protective equipment or if the Ministry of Health revokes their directive allowing Chiropodists and podiatrists to provide non- essential footcare services.
